Working Women vs. Housewife

           

               
             Being working women or housewife always debateable.Some women prefer to stay as housewives while some decide to continue working even after marriage. In past, Indonesian women tend to be a housewife according to the culture and parents’ opinion that women should stay at home doing the house work as wives and protecting their children as mothers. However, nowadays, that opinion was damaged since the women’s emancipation was loudly sounded.

            Today, the world has started accepting the strength and power of the women. There are women who work in a company as an employee or even a leader. There also women who work as a seller, moreover an owner of a restaurant. If we see in the present government structures, there also women who are trusted to be minister. There are the advantages that women can get if they are being working women. The first is getting financial support. The main advantage of a working women is that they can have financial support to their family. The second is independent. A working women automatically can be said as an independent women. They can manage the outdoor chores very well as well as solving many problems. The last is being a source of inspiration. A working women will always act as a source of inspiration for their kids as well as their family related to their independency.

            In other point of view, being a housewife were not always bad than being a working women. In the internet era right now, many housewives are being rich from home and become a good mother and wife in the same time. There are the advantages of being a housewife. The first iswatching their children grow. The main advantage of being a housewife is to watch her kids grow. The biggest guilt a working couple faces is the lack of time that they devote to their kids. The second is more freedom. A housewife experiences more freedom than the working women. They are not answerable to any fiery boss regarding any matter and they do not have to seek any body's permission when they are not well. The last is can  utilize both world. The two worlds are always open to a housewife. She can sit at home and take care of her family as well as do some part time work from home like online business. This helps her grow professionally while taking care of house and children.

In conclusion, being a housewife or a working woman is a personal choice and both can be equally good.
